Terms of service
Last updated: [PLACEHOLDER: date set at launch]
Agreement
These Terms govern your use of Suward — a cryptocurrency payment gateway that lets businesses accept stablecoins and major cryptocurrencies. By creating an account you agree to these Terms on behalf of the business you represent.
The service
Suward provides payment acceptance in two modes (one-off Payments and Static Wallets), settlement tracking through explicit payment stages (Pending, Accepted, Success), AML and sanctions screening of every incoming transaction, balance management, and on-chain withdrawals. Suward is a payment processing service for businesses; it is not a bank, an exchange, an investment service, or a custodial wallet for consumers.
Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for safeguarding credentials and API keys, and for the actions of team members you invite. Two-factor authentication and role-based access are available and recommended for any account that moves funds.
Fees
The service fee is 0.4% per payment. Basic screening is included; Extended screening carries a minimum of $0.45 per payment. Network fees and withdrawal fees are quoted before confirmation. Fee allocation between you and your customer is configured by you per payment. Current fees are published on the pricing page; fee changes take effect prospectively.
Payment stages and settlement
A payment is credited only after sufficient network confirmations (Accepted) and becomes withdrawable when irreversible (Success). Suward may re-verify payments affected by blockchain reorganizations while they are confirming and may route ambiguous cases to manual review before crediting. Stage definitions are described in the documentation.
Screening and prohibited use
Every incoming transaction is screened before crediting; screening cannot be disabled. Transactions linked to sanctioned jurisdictions or prohibited activity may be blocked or held for review. You may not use Suward for activity that is illegal in your jurisdiction or ours, and you are responsible for the legality of your own products and for taxes on your revenue.
Withdrawals
Withdrawals are executed on-chain to wallets you control, manually (under your account’s access controls) or by auto-withdrawal rules you configure. Withdrawal fees are quoted before confirmation.
Test tokens
Suward test tokens are free, valueless assets for integration testing. Minting requires an on-chain transaction whose network gas is paid by you. Test tokens carry no monetary value and no claim against Suward.
API and acceptable use
API keys are issued per account with limits, rotation, and revocation. You may not attempt to disrupt the service, probe its security, or exceed documented rate limits. API changes are backward compatible as a matter of policy; material changes are announced in the documentation.
Service changes and availability
We may add, change, or retire features. The service is provided “as is” and “as available”: current service state and incident history are published on the status page, and we do not promise uptime percentages or service levels.
Liability
To the extent applicable law allows, Suward is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Suward is not liable for the behavior of blockchain networks (congestion, forks, or reorganizations beyond the confirmation policy described in the documentation), for third-party wallets and services, or for funds sent to an address supplied incorrectly by you or your customer — on-chain transfers are irreversible by nature. For any claim, Suward’s aggregate liability is capped at the service fees you paid to Suward in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory applicable law.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these Terms, prohibited use, or legal necessity. On termination, lawfully held balances remain withdrawable subject to screening outcomes and applicable law.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms; material changes are notified through the dashboard or by email and take effect prospectively.
Operator, notices, disputes
Suward is the operating name of the service available at suward.com. The address for notices, questions, and legal claims is payments@suward.com. Disputes are resolved first by good-faith negotiation through that address. These Terms do not name a governing law or an exclusive forum; nothing in them limits mandatory rights you hold, or obligations we carry, under the law that applies to you. If any provision of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
